This notice board includes listings for Alexander Technique workshops, courses, conferences, etc. Where the information is known, each listing will state who the event is open to (e.g. open to all, open to Alexander teachers and trainees only, open to Alexander teachers only).

Description:	Join us for a fun and illuminating week on the University of Nebraska campus. Small and whole group daily sessions, mentoring, lessons and performance-oriented and specialized activities in a supportive setting. All teachers spent decades studying with F.M. Alexander's first graduate, Master Teacher Marjorie Barstow and embody her unique and practical approach to group teaching and applying the principles in their work. Private work and supplemental classes in Tai Chi and Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement are included.
Note:	6:1 student-teacher ratio for optimal learning; some scholarships available. Comfortable single rooms in an apartment style dormitory with group meals. You must register for housing by May 15 or it may not be available. Outings to native prairie, outdoor jazz concert and more.

Description:	The 19th Annual Summer Course in the Alexander Technique at the University of Colorado will be held July 8-12, 2013 in beautiful Boulder. Daily sessions run from 9:00 to noon. One graduate-level credit is available for an additional fee. In addition to group instruction, each participant receives a private session with a member of the teaching faculty. PAAT Training Course in the U.K.

Description:	The Houston School for the Alexander Technique will offer its first Teacher Training program beginning Sept. 2010. This four year program is designed to allow people with employment in Houston or surrounding areas to become teachers of the technique without having to move elsewhere to train. The school meets to study for an extended weekend each month from September through May (please request a course schedule). Other requirements include a five day course in Boca Raton in February.

Sinclair Studio Alexander Technique Teacher Training Toronto, Canada

Description:	Susan Sinclair is the Director of Training and primary program teacher. It is a 1200-hour, three-to-four year program. The training meets once a month for an intensive period from September through July of each year; each session ranging from two to nine days. The training schedule is designed in such a way that students who have regular work schedules, or who live outside the city of Toronto, may train to be teachers.
Note:	Each year senior Alexander Technique teacher, Martha Hansen Fertman, a sponsoring member of ATI, makes two visits to the program. The program incorporates, as well, a visit from at least one other international teacher each year, enabling students to experience a diversity of teaching styles and gain exposure to the wider Alexander Technique community. Previous visiting teachers to the program have included: Meade Andrews, Sakiko Ishitsubo, Rosa Luisa Rossi, Peter Nobes, Janet Feindel, Ariel Weiss Holyst, Bruce Fertman and Monica Gray. During the course of the program an effort is made to ensure visits by teachers who are sponsoring members of ATI in order to facilitate subsequent certification after graduation.

Alexander Teacher-Training Course Boston Conservatory, Boston, MA USA June 11th, 2012 TBA - TBA $2000 per semester plus additional fees

Description:	This teacher-training course at the Boston Conservatory is ideal for graduate students there who wish to pursue an AT teaching certificate along with their music or theatre degree. It is, however, open to all students- not just Conservatory students. The full training is 1600 hours and is taken over a minimum of three years. This training is affiliated with Tommy Thompson's training in Cambridge.
